Königslutter is the gateway to the natural park Elm-Lappwald and surrounded by woods, moorland and heathland. In a quiet area between Brunswick and Helmstedt and not far from the federal motorway A2 (Hannover-Berlin) you will find the Avalon Hotelpark Königshof, a hotel complex with excellent conference and recreation facilities.

A modern fitness centre, the beauty-farm and pool, sauna, steam bath and solarium are available for physical training or relaxation. Four indoor and four outdoor tennis courts and a number of bowling lanes may be used by our guests.

Food & beverage

The hotel’s Merlin restaurant serves delicious regional, seasonal and international specialities amid a stylish atmosphere. During summer months, you can enjoy your meal on the attractive terrace, which faces the Elm-Lappwald nature park.

The Merlin restaurant is open from Monday to Friday, from 18:00 until 22:00. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the restaurant is open from 12:00 until 14:00, and again from 18:00 until 22:00.

The hotel bar is open daily from 18:00. You can enjoy a large selection of drinks here, from draught beers to exotic cocktails.

In the cosy bistro you can relax with snacks and drinks as you watch live sports on the TV. The bistro is open daily from 18:00.
