The idyllic Ahr valley is one of Germany’s most renowned wine-producing regions. 25 years ago, the 35-km Red Wine Hiking Trail in the “Valley of the Red Grape” was first opened to visitors. The route links the wine-producing regions of Bad Bodendorf all the way to Altenahr.
