Söderskär Lighthouse

Set in a lighthouse from 1862, this property is scenically located on the private island of Majakkasaari in Porvoo’s rocky archipelago. It features rustic rooms with Baltic Sea views and a bookable sauna.

Wooden furnishings and charming décor are featured in Söderskär Lighthouse’s guest rooms. They are only lit by candlelight, as there is no electricity. Bathroom facilities are shared.

A traditional Finnish porridge breakfast is served daily. Light snacks and drinks are available at Söderskär’s café. Guests who bring their groceries with can use the small, communal kitchen or gas grill.

In addition to relaxing in the peaceful setting, fishing and canoeing are other area activities.

This property can only be reached by boat. Options include a 90-minute ferry from Helsinki Market Place, a 40-minute shuttle from Helsinki Vuosaari Harbour or a personal boat.
