Asion Lithos

Tradition meets comfort and luxury in these traditional villas located in the settlement Kato Asites, hardly 20 kilometres from Heraklion (Crete's main city).

In a space of natural beauty we created a group of 2 self-contained completely equipped villas, with combination of stone and timber. Facilities at Asion Lithos include a swimming pool, traditional stone-made oven, barbecue and lush green gardens.

Asion LIthos combines all that the visitor wishes for: quietness, natural environment, wonderful view, luxury and tradition.

The European Mountaineering Path E4 is near the hotel, for those who plan to stretch their legs on the rugged terrain. After an energetic walk, have a barbecue back at Asion Lithos and enjoy the unique wine of Asites.

Room information

Each villa can be rented by floor, or you can rent the whole villa. Every floor has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom.

The upper floor has a veranda and balcony with a wonderful view. The lower floor has a fireplace and a functional kitchen.

Area information

The village is built at an altitude of 450 metres. In Asites you can find Byzantine churches, as well as the remains of Roman baths.

Nisi (2 km) - Near Kato Asites there is an abandoned settlement with traditional houses of architectural interest.

Agios Myron (6 km) - Built between 2 hills you can enjoy panoramic views and some interesting chapels and stone fountains.

Heraklion (20 km) - The capital of Crete and near the ruins at Knossos. The town offers a good choice of clubs, bars and restaurants, plus shops and taverns.

Travel information

By Car (from Heraklion Airport):
- The residences are located about 25 km from the airport.
- Drive along the Heraklion - Voutes - Agios Miron - Kato Asites road.

By Bus (from the airport):
Between 08:00 and 20:00, buses depart every 2 hours.

Pets are permitted as long as the visitor remains responsible for any damage which may occur. Guests should bring food for their pets.
