Open all day, the a la carte restaurant, A Quinta, serves a large variety of local dishes. Specialities include cod with cream and Cozido a Portuguesa (typical one-pot dish).

The restaurant is open to guests and the public and seats a maximum of 90 people.

We accept reservations and are happy to organise all kinds of events.

A takeaway service is also available.

Continental breakfast is served 08:00 to 10:30.

Area information

Due to the fascinating colours of its exotic vegetation, Madeira is considered a natural reserve, two thirds of which is protected. For those who like to walk and enjoy the magnificent landscape, Madeira is a real paradise. The island offers a spectrum of landscapes, from mountains to forests to beaches. View the changing landscape by taking a walk along the levadas (irrigation channels), a living document of the island’s past. They are used to spread the overflowing waters that come from the sources up in the mountains over the canyons and valleys.

This island offers 2 golf courses, suitable for championships and novices. One of these is the Golf Club of Santo da Serra (1.5 km), promoter of the Madeira Island Open. The course has majestic views to the highest mountains as well as down to the calm sea.

The active and adventurous can para-glide, hike, play tennis, go horse-riding and cycle. These are just some of the activities practised on Madeira throughout the year.

Travel information

From the Airport (6 km):
- Take the main road.
- On 1st curve on the right, there is a road sign indicating Santo da Serra - Santa Cruz.
- Follow the road for 50 metres more.
- Turn right and go straight ahead, parallel to the airport runway.
- At the end, go up the road for 200 metres and follow the road sign Santo da Serra – Campo de Golf.
- After 5 km, after passing the Golf Course, go through the village and 200 metres ahead you will find Estalagem a Quinta.
